Placing events, ideas and thoughts into a linear sequence is a pillar of learning. Other sequences include Webs, timelines, mazes and trails.
The technique of sifting sequences from large data banks, irrelevant sources and confusing information requires problem-solving and decision-making. But, the chaining of sequences is the foundation upon which these advanced skills are based.
